Blast Mixer FAQ

Why is Blast Mixer transitioning?
Amway sells so many products across so many categories that it has to maintain strict SKU and portfolio management practices. Because of this, sometimes they have to make tough decisions to cancel products even if they are still popular. Always keeping the IBO's best interests in mind, Amway worked with partner store XSGear.com to continue to offer mixers for the very enthusiastic contingent of Blast Mixer enthusiasts.
Are Blast Mixers Kosher?
Yes, OU certified.
Is Blast Mixer safe for pregnant women or children?
We don't make recommendations on usage for pregnant women or children, especially with the inclusion of herbs and caffeine. We do recommend, for anyone that has usage questions to show the ingredients to your physician and ask if they feel it is safe for use based on your condition.
How much Blast Mixer is safe?
Blast Mixer contains 80mg of caffeine per ounce along with B-Vitamins and a proprietary herb blend. Caffeine and herb impact is different per user so we recommend limiting your usage, especially if you don't regularly consume caffeine; and if you have concerns, consult your physician.
What happened to the pour spouts that used to come with Blast Mixer?
The pre-measured pour spouts were discontinued from the packaging in the transition of Blast Mixer, however they are still available via XSGear.com. You can add them to your Blast Mixer order. If mixing on your own, 1oz of Blast Mixer is the ingredient equivalent to one full 8.4oz can of energy drink. We recommend mixing 1oz of Blast Mixer with 7oz of water or carbonated water to create the equivalent of an energy drink. Pay attention to the ingredient panel to see how Blast Mixer ingredients compare to other energy options.
Are there recipes for Blast Mixer?
Yes, there is a downloadable link on the Blast Mixer product page.

Why would I use Blast Mixer in my IBO business?
There are many reasons to incorporate Blast Mixer into your IBO business, here are three primary examples:
  • Profit opportunity – Blast Mixer has profitability when marketing into drinks and smoothies and can help create profits. Profits that can infuse your Amway business activity.
  • Economical Sampling – When doing mass sampling to create interest, conversations and sales, Blast Mixer can be a more economical way to mass-sample as you transition those samples into sales of energy drink cans and cases.
  • Practice – When building an Amway business, having knowledge of your products and starting conversations, answer questions and converting interest into sales takes some practice. Executing Blast Mixer events (see Amway Booth & Event Sales on Amway.com) can be a great way to sample and talk about your products and gain confidence.
How is the new Blast Mixer on XSGear.com different from the old Blast Mixer on Amway.com?
The only difference is the new look of the labels. Blast Mixer still uses the same quality ingredients as before.
Why can't I order? Why does the order button stay grayed out?
XS Gear offers Blast Mixer for sale in 2, 4, and 12-packs. When you go into the order page to customize your flavor mix, you must select an amount of bottles that add up the quantity you have selected to order i.e., (2, 4, or 12).
Why can my customers login to XSGear.com or AmwayGear.com and see the IBOC for Blast Mixer?
XS Gear has been a partner store for IBOs since it launched in 2003. The site never had a separate login for IBOs or customers because we always just sold merchandise for IBOs to help impact marketing efforts. Blast Mixer is the first product sold by XS Gear that was previously sold through Amway where IBOs had customers and online customer ordering. Since there never was any distinction on XS Gear between customers and IBOs the site allows customers who log in with their customer number to see the IBOC. Any one that goes directly to the site sees a higher retail, but still there is not a solution for crediting retail margin back to the IBO. XS GEAR IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON A SOLUTION FOR THIS, BUT IN THE MEANTIME, WE ASK YOU TO PERSONALLY SERVICE YOUR CUSTOMERS.
Is XS Gear working on a solution for customer ordering?
Any one that goes directly to the site sees a higher retail, but still there is not a solution for crediting retail margin back to the IBO. XS GEAR IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON A SOLUTION FOR THIS, BUT IN THE MEANTIME, WE ASK YOU TO PERSONALLY SERVICE YOUR CUSTOMERS. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY, AT THE MOMENT, FOR YOU TO MARK THE PRODUCT UP TO YOUR CUSTOMER WHEN YOU RESELL IT AND KEEP THE PROFIT.
How does the pricing work for new Blast Mixer?
Currently there are two pricing scenarios for Blast Mixer on XS Gear. The first is the IBOC, which you see when you log into the site with your account or IBO#. The second is a suggested retail that one would see if they came to the site without logging. We did this to encourage non-IBO customers to order through an IBO for better pricing or to keep the suggest retails for IBOs actively selling Blast consistent with what we suggest reselling it for.
